Chiya is a PGY-1 Radiology resident in NYC. As a former high school teacher and one of the youngest medical trainees in the country, he is a forward-thinking mentor who helps students strategically plan and optimize their academic journeys, encouraging them to work smarter and maximize their potential. Despite facing time constraints throughout his education, Chiya developed strategies to excel by mastering test structures and understanding exam writers—methods he now shares with others. He accelerated his education by taking AP courses, graduating summa cum laude in under three years with degrees in Economics, Music, and Public Health, while also teaching and leading tutoring sessions for college students. After completing a master’s in Biotech Entrepreneurship, he returned to teaching before pursuing medical and business school in New York. Chiya now helps others optimize their time and academic progress using the same effective strategies.
